I love working on personal finance and consumer stories and I’ve been lucky enough to do that for over 20 years. Currently I split my time between my money website for women, SavvyWoman.co.uk, broadcasting on radio and TV and writing for print and online publications.
I also offer media training, conference chairing and present explanatory videos and have worked with a range of corporate clients. I am passionate about explaining financial issues in a straightforward way – something I aim to do in my broadcast appearances and journalism. I can also offer companies advice on how to talk in a clear and engaging way to customers, especially women.
I am regularly interviewed by the BBC, ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Sky News, and Channel 5 – among others – on personal finance and consumer issues, and I love doing live TV and radio. I am also frequently quoted in the press and online media.
In 2015 I was named Personal Finance Broadcaster of the Year in the Santander Media Awards for my work on Share Radio. SavvyWoman has also won or been shortlisted for, several awards.
Before launching SavvyWoman, I was a freelance consumer and personal finance reporter on BBC1’s Saturday Breakfast programme, and my career in personal finance journalism began on Radio 4’s Moneybox programme.
